Overview

Soviet leader Joseph Stalin (left), U.S. president Franklin D. Roosevelt (center), British prime minister Winston Churchill (right), and various military officers meet on the portico of the Russian Embassy in Tehran, Iran in 1943. The conference, which was held from November 28 to December 1, 1943, was a meeting of the "Big Three" to discuss the strategy of the Allies during World War II.
